إسلام سياسي مصطلح سياسي وإعلامي وأكاديمي استخدم لتوصيف حركات تغيير سياسية تؤمن بالإسلام باعتباره نظاماً سياسياً للحكم. ويمكن تعريفه كمجموعة من الأفكار والأهداف السياسية النابعة من الشريعة الإسلامية التي يستخدمها مجموعة المسلمين الأصوليين الذين يؤمنون بأن الإسلام ليس عبارة عن ديانة فقط وإنما عبارة عن نظام سياسي واجتماعي وقانوني واقتصادي يصلح لبناء مؤسسات دولة.
